Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy governs use of the IBOHero Service and is incorporated by reference into the Master Services Agreement (for organizations) and the Terms of Use (for Independent Business Owners and other users). Capitalized terms have the meaning in those agreements. Violation may result in content removal, suspension, or termination.

1. Responsibility for Content and Claims

You are solely responsible for the content you create, approve, and publish through the Service and for its compliance with law. The Service's content-generation and compliance-check features are automated aids that assist your review; they are not a guarantee of legal or regulatory compliance. Publishing requires an affirmative human action by you, and you acknowledge responsibility for your content at the time you publish it.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You will not use the Service to create, publish, or distribute content that:

2.1 Deceptive or unsubstantiated marketing

• makes income, earnings, or "lifestyle" claims about a business opportunity that are false, misleading, or not supported by competent and reliable evidence;
• makes health, disease, or safety claims about any product that are false, misleading, or not substantiated (including claims that a product cures, treats, or prevents disease);
• presents testimonials or endorsements that are not truthful, not representative of typical results, or that omit required disclosures of material connections;
• misrepresents the nature, costs, risks, or requirements of a multi-level-marketing or direct-selling opportunity, or presents it in a manner that functions as a pyramid or endless-chain scheme; or
• otherwise violates Federal Trade Commission rules and guidance on advertising, endorsements, and deceptive or unfair practices, or comparable state consumer-protection law.

2.2 Unlawful, harmful, or infringing

• violates any applicable law or regulation;
• infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• is defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
• contains malware or attempts to compromise the Service's security; or
• impersonates any person or entity or misrepresents an affiliation.

2.3 Communications and data

• sends spam or messages to recipients who have not consented, or otherwise violates the CAN-SPAM Act or applicable messaging law;
• harvests, scrapes, or collects data from the Service or third parties without authorization; or
• uploads personal information the sender has no lawful basis to process.

3. The Organization's Compliance Rulebook

Where an organization provisions your access, that organization defines the substantive compliance rules, approved claims, and brand standards for its field (the "Customer Rulebook"). You must comply with the Customer Rulebook in addition to this Policy. IBOHero does not define, and is not responsible for, the Customer Rulebook.

4. Enforcement

IBOHero may, with or without notice, remove or unpublish content, and suspend or terminate access, for a violation of this Policy or where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, its users, or third parties. An organization that provisioned a user's access may request removal or unpublishing of that user's content for compliance or brand-safety reasons.

5. No Professional Advice; AI Output

Content generated with AI features may contain errors and must be reviewed before publication. The Service does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice, and content generated through it is not a substitute for professional advice or for the user's own compliance judgment.
